BAM

Bolsover, Ashfield and Mansfield (BAM) covers three district council areas, Bolsover in Derbyshire plus Ashfield and Mansfield in Nottinghamshire, over two Local Authorities. Our area gives us a unique urban and rural mix.

There is a rich industrial heritage, most recently in the mining and textile industries. The decline of these industries has had inevitable consequences but through the strength of the local communities, a variety of regeneration initiatives, and strong strategic partnerships between the public, voluntary and business sectors, the area is now redefining itself as a positive place to live, work and visit.

Creative skills for employability are what Creative Partnerships BAM sees as the key factor for the future aspirations and success of our young people. We aim to give our young people the opportunities to enjoy their learning from an early age and keep involved throughout their lives.
