The aim of Bright Space is to improve the life chances of children and young people through the development of their creative skills and their engagement in arts and cultural activities. We do this by running activities that partner young people with the best creative people, artists and cultural organisations to create work that will amaze and delight. We want children and young people to be challenged and to surpass themselves in their work with us and so be able to imagine themselves and their world differently.

Birmingham is the second largest city in England. The last 10 years have seen extraordinary urban regeneration - the city centre has seen substantial investment in the cultural and creative sector and is seen as the regional capital, with virtually all regional agencies based here.
