Half of the population lives in 13 wards that are amongst the most deprived in England. The city is using creativity and culture to generate investment and wealth. Work is well underway in building the new Cultural Quarter (including centres for performing arts, visual arts and the moving image) and the Peepul Centre, (serving the South Asian community).

Creative Partnerships Leicester is committed to exploring Leicester's unique cultural heritage and inspiring creative communities.

We are currently compiling a database of creative and cultural practitioners for potential use for small-scale projects.
