LeicesterCreative Partnerships Leicester is located in one of Britain's most diverse cities. Almost 50 per cent of its junior school population have minority ethnic backgrounds. Half of the population lives in 13 wards that are amongst the most deprived in England. The city is using creativity and culture to generate investment and wealth. Street and outdoor festivals are a prominent feature of the city's calendar. Work is well underway in building the new Cultural Quarter (including centres for performing arts, visual arts and the moving image) and the Peepul Centre, (serving the South Asian community). Creative Partnerships Leicester is committed to exploring Leicester's unique cultural heritage and inspiring creative communities. We are currently compiling a database of creative and cultural practitioners for potential use for small-scale projects. If you would be interested in registering with Creative Partnerships Leicester, please contact the team at leicester@creative-partnerships.com or call 0116 2616 876 for a registration form.
