MerseysideOn Merseyside, two decades of regeneration initiatives have generated a sophisticated understanding of the role that culture and creativity can play in social, environmental and economic development. This tradition has continued with Liverpool's designation as European Capital of Culture in 2008. The region boasts some major cultural institutions, including the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, FACT - the Foundation for Art and Creative Technology, the Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse Theatres, the Unity Theatre, Tate Liverpool, National Museums Liverpool, Liverpool Biennial and the Bluecoat. Creative Partnerships Merseyside plays a crucial role in helping children on Merseyside realise their full potential and achieve rewarding careers in local industry. Creative Partnerships Merseyside needs Creative Agents A Creative Agent could be from any background but must be a strong communicator who can promote teaching and learning for creativity.
