Tees ValleyCreative Partnerships Tees Valley is situated in a strongly urban and industrialised setting covering five local authorities - Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool, Redcar & Cleveland and Darlington. Our vision is to effect positive change in the aspirations, achievement and well being of young people across the region by embedding creative practice in education, placing it at the heart of the regeneration of the Tees Valley. We work with nine Lead Creative schools in addition to sustaining partnerships with further schools as part of our network programme. Each of these approaches is carefully designed to address the needs of the school which are identified within the school development plan. We also work closely with Children's Services departments in our local authorities and CPD for teachers continues to be integral to our overall programme. Our partners bring a rich mix of innovation and expertise to all strands of our practice. We work with a broad range of practitioners, cultural organisations, entrepreneurs and agencies to generate creative solutions in partnership with schools. The Change Schools Programme - an opportunity for sustainable and creative change In 2008 Creative Partnerships will be recruiting 850 schools to the Change School Programme.
