Thames Gateway (Basildon)Creative Partnerships began working in Basildon in April 2004. In June 2005, the operation took over responsibility for setting up Creative Partnerships in Thurrock, and became known as Creative Partnerships, Thames Gateway (Basildon & Thurrock). Since Creative Partnerships has been working in the Thames Gateway area, it has introduced over 75 creative practitioners or artists to a total of 31 schools. In Basildon, the team are currently working with 15 schools on amazing projects from pseudo archaeology to ambitious architectural designs for new learning spaces. Creative Partnerships, Thames Gateway is in a unique position to invest in the extraordinary growth and regeneration area of Thames Gateway. Its aim is to be at the heart of the regeneration and to make creative spaces and networks a part of every new community across the Thames Gateway and to influence, invest and create the space in which young people live, learn and play. :: Latest news
