Thames Gateway (Thurrock)

Creative Partnerships, Thames Gateway began working in Thurrock in June 2005, following a successful year of activity in Basildon (ongoing). Since Creative Partnerships has been working in the Thames Gateway area, it has introduced over 75 creative practitioners or artists to a total of 31 schools. In Thurrock, Creative Partnerships, Thames Gateway has begun work with 15 schools on exciting projects ranging from commercials to 'sell' national curriculum subjects to plans for a museum and archive of tales and tall stories.

Creative Partnerships, Thames Gateway is in a unique position to invest in the extraordinary growth and regeneration area of Thames Gateway. Its aim is to be at the heart of the regeneration and to make creative spaces and networks a part of every new community across the Thames Gateway and to influence, invest and create the space in which young people live, learn and play.
