CARAFollowing on from the success of the first year of CARA (Creativity Action Research Awards), in 2006 CapeUK and Creative Partnerships launched CARA 2. Based on the same principles of partnership, research and creativity for learning, CARA 2 encouraged participants to get beneath the surface and reflect on the processes of creativity and how this can be integrated into all curriculum areas. Some schools from the first round of CARA continued on their journey with new schools as partners, and there has been a greater emphasis on networks of schools working together. In total 120 schools across the country have taken part, researching and exploring in a range of areas, from helping pupils generate their own ideas, to developing collaborative creativity in dance and science. The reports available here give much more detail about individual projects, and are a fantastic resource for anyone interested in creativity and learning. :: Latest news:: Upcoming events:: Contact details
