The Independent newspaper takes advice from St Benedict’s School in Birmingham

St Benedict’s Infant School in Small Heath recently appeared in The Independent newspaper. They are a Creative Partnerships (CP) Change School and have devised a storytelling project through the programme, working with their specially trained dinner-ladies.

The Head, Anita Thompson, recently responded to The Independent's Education Quandary: ‘We object to our daughter’s school showing Disney films during ‘wet play’ what can we do?

Anita replied, using her story-telling project as the basis of her response: ‘Our school is on the Creative Partnerships creative learning programme, which has enabled us to extend our storytelling club during lunchtime. The club, led by our dinner-ladies, takes place in the playground but is easily transported into a hall during ‘wet play...’
