Area Delivery Organisation: Cre8us - Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire

Bettering the creative and cultural learning experience for young people across the Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire sub-region.

Cre8us was formed in September 2008 as a development of Creative Partnerships Coventry. Now as part of Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Partnership (CSWP) Ltd, Cre8us is playing a vital role delivering the Creative Partnerships learning programme. Cre8us promotes and facilitates creative teaching and learning, aiming to help fully realise the huge potential of children and young people through the development of their creative skills and abilities.

We work in partnership with a range of organisations, local authorities and businesses to make a meaningful and lasting difference to the lives of young people. We achieve this by connecting young people and schools with creative partners and organisations - enriching their learning experience, and raising their aspirations.

Cre8us are currently engaged with 65 schools across the region through the Enquiry and Change School programmes. We are supporting these schools as they embark on their own creative learning journey to explore and develop new and innovative ways of teaching and learning.

An important element of our work in schools is concerned with delivering bespoke professional development training for teachers and other school staff. We also work very closely with Local Education Authorities' School Improvement Advisors in Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire.

Our work is not just confined to schools - we are also seeking to develop other ways of working with young people, the creative and cultural sector, businesses and partners outside of the Creative Partnerships programme.
