Cre8us and BBC Blast are working together to offer a whole range of exciting free opportunities for young people to learn new creative skills.
BBC Blast is coming to Coventry!
Do you fancy getting a taste for something creative? If you're aged 13 to 19 then BBC Blast is the place for you! In Coventry BBC Blast has joined forces with Cre8us to offer a whole range of free creative activities will be on offer at this year’s 'Godiva Festival' (War Memorial Park, Coventry) over the weekend of the 2 - 4 July 2010.
There will also be lots of opportunities for young people to get involved in a fantastic range of exciting activities in Coventry and Warwickshire in the last two weeks of June too! What can you do on Blast?
Get inspired, discover new talents and sharpen your creative skills with great content on Blast Online, Blast on Tour and Blast TV. Why not take part in free workshops, upload and discuss your creations and enter competitions to work with big-name talent? Or how about going behind the scenes in the creative industries and apply to take part in loads of innovative projects, work experience and creative placements, all at BBC Blast!
Young people will be able to experiment with state-of-the-art equipment to produce their own work with support from leading industry professionals and local creative practitioners, including BBC production staff.
