Cre8us encouraging practitioners to 'Love Me Tender'!
11 May 2010
Area Delivery Organisation: Cre8us - Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire
Are you a Creative Practitioner who would like to know more about the Creative Partnerships programme and how it operates in school?
Have you seen some tenders for opportunities in schools and not been sure how to respond to them?
Cre8us are running their 'Love Me Tender' workshop designed to help you understand how you could improve your chances of accessing some of these fantastic opportunities!
When? Wednesday 26 May 2010
Where? Xcel Leisure Centre, Coventry
Time? 10am-4pm
What's it all about?
The day will be a mix of presentations and practical workshops, led by Creative Agents and practitioners currently working with Cre8us and in schools across our sub-region (Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire). The day will consider the Creative Partnerships' programme, the role of the practitioner, case studies about the reality 'on the ground', an outline of the recruitment process, demystifying briefs, insight into how to respond to tenders, and an opportunity for one-to-one surgeries and advice.
So what is in it for me?
"I now understand the way to unravel the enquiries and apply my knowledge to gain the tenders."
"This day reinforce my confidence that I already have many of the skills required and I can become a practitioner...affirming my belief in creative teaching for all."
How do I apply?
To apply you will need to complete an application form which can be found and downloaded on the Cre8us website. The session will cost you £30.00 (including lunch and refreshments) and applications must be received by Monday 24 May.
