The Centre for Creativity and Learning, University of Sunderland

Creative Partnerships Durham Sunderland operates over a large geographical area, covering urban and rural schools. It takes 2 hours to traverse our patch - from the rolling green landscape of County Durham to the urban landscape of Sunderland and the glass and steel of our newly founded Centre for Creativity and Learning at The Sir Tom Cowie Campus of The University of Sunderland.

Creative Partnerships Durham Sunderland has been working since 2002 with cultural sector partners and schools to find new ways to enhance, diversify and enrich learning in the classroom. We deliver a research-focused programme of work through partnerships and collaborations between our partner schools and the cultural sector that extends creative learning, develops new knowledge and brokers new collaborations and cultural production within school settings across Durham and Sunderland.
