Young people across the region need you to have your say in their future too!
We believe the best people to make the argument for changing the way that organisations work with young people are the young people themselves.
'Everyone's a Winner' is a film made by young people from Tibshelf Community School in Derbyshire.
The content is woven around an inset day focusing on young people's participation in school and in particular their role as leaders of the 'Short Burst' programme, a classroom based approach that supports active engagement in learning.
The narrative explores the relationship between young people and adults in the school learning environment.
The debate that resulted explores the provocation of what young people need now from adults in changing the way that adults work with young people.
What to do now:
- Take time out and watch the film by clicking here;
- Make a drink of your choice and reflect on what you’ve seen;
- Gather your thoughts, your colleagues if you wish, and share the link with others who you know will want to see this too;
- Record your thoughts by short film, sound bite or words – use whatever resources you have to hand.
