Area Delivery Organisation: The Mighty Creatives
Lift Off! is the starting point for our new journey.
Through it,we want to paint pictures of what’s possible and build new partnerships and programmes around a common vision.
At its heart are five clear arguments:
1. Young people’s creativity is a valuable and necessary asset for the region’s prosperity, driving skills, productivity and cohesion.
2. Young people’s creative skills need nurturing from an early age through to adulthood to help realise their potential.
3. Creative children and young people can be effective change agents in their schools and communities when given the support to assert their influence and develop their leadership skills.
4. Adults can work together in new and innovative ways to provide rich, ambitious and appropriately challenging opportunities for young people and create a stronger, evidence driven argument for culture.
5. We all need to find new ways of working with young people that empower them as innovators and social entrepreneurs to build a more sustainable future.
