Area Delivery Organisation: Royal Opera House Creative Partnerships
A group of pupils from The Sweyne Park School in Rayleigh, Essex pitched their new brands of smoothies and soups to a panel of experts at the world-famous Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.
As part of a Creative Partnerships project, the pupils developed the product, through extensive research into nutrition and ingredients, as well as the packaging and marketing. They presented their products before an expert panel including a chef from the Royal Opera House, and representatives from the three companies that supported the project - Mintel who specialise in Market Research, RDA Organic who produce healthy smoothies and juices, and New Covent Garden Food Company who create a range of soups amongst other products. The project proved to be a really exciting challenge which explored to what extent the pupils creativity led to successful entrepreneurial skills.
The Sweyne Park School is a Creative Partnerships Change School.
