CapeUK South Yorkshire (Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham)

CapeUK is a leading independent research and development agency in the field of creativity, learning and development.

Everyone who has worked with CapeUK has their own story to tell, because our programmes, research, advice and guidance within the education and public sector are tailored to suit individual needs.

CapeUK began back in 1997 as a not-for-profit organisation. We aim to generate vibrant learning communities dedicated to preparing young people to face the future with creativity and self belief.

CapeUK has developed networks for over ten years and is now linked - and could link you - with people regionally, nationally and internationally. We continually seek to draw on learning and experiences worldwide.
Recognised for our high quality thinking, CapeUK aims to be a catalyst for change - influencing, equipping and supporting all who work with young people. We aim to place creativity at the centre of learning and personal development, with our in-depth understanding of the curriculum and pedagogical approaches. We continually collaborate with teachers and other organisations, to explore alternative learning processes which will be vibrant, innovative and engaging.

CapeUK currently has four key areas of work;

  • Consultancy - working in partnership with you to explore and experiment, taking new innovative approaches, advising and drawing from our extensive material, knowledge and proven best practice and research
  • Professional learning - developing and enhancing attributes, knowledge, understanding and skills. CapeUK Professional Learning programmes are delivered in a number of ways such as e-learning, day events, twilight courses, manuals, resources
  • Programmes - a variety of programme opportunities exploring and promoting creativity, learning and development
  • Research - investigating and exploring to gain a deeper expertise. CapeUK regularly publishes its findings, project reports, evaluations and ideas - many of these are available on our website to download for free.

CapeUK is about equipping and enhancing skills for the future, positioning creativity and imagination as one of the key capacities for human survival.
