Arts Council England strongly supports conclusions of Select Committee into Creative Partnerships and the Curriculum

The Education and Skills Committee published its report today on Creative Partnerships and the Curriculum. The report strongly urges the Government to take creativity seriously and place it at the heart of learning.

Arts Council England strongly supports all Select Committee conclusions; they endorse the fundamental importance of Creative Partnerships

The Select Committee appreciates the central role that creativity plays in enhancing the educational experience for young people. It recommends that Creative Partnerships must aspire to provide opportunities and share best practice with all schools and young people in England. It states there is a need for a nationally agreed framework owned by the DCSF, which recognises progress in the development of young people
