Creative Director - Chris Batstone (01623 404377)

Before joining Creative Partnerships in 2005, Chris was Head of Community Development at the Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield, responsible for the theatre's educational and community programmes. Chris's background is as a theatre director and drama practitioner; he has worked extensively in schools, within community/regeneration settings and with adults with mental health problems and with learning difficulties. Chris likes to relax by listening to heavy metal music and mixing cocktails.

Creative Programme Manager - Becky Williamson (01623 404376/07725 660530)

Becky joined Creative Partnerships in April 2005, and has overall responsibility for the management of the creative programme in schools.

From an early age Becky wanted pursue her own creativity through the world of dance and theatre. With clear and ambitious ideas of what she wanted to achieve she trained with a local ballet school before joining the Birmingham Royal Ballet firstly as a student in 1996 and dancing with the company as an Artist from 1997. Since leaving the company Becky has worked with community arts education supporting the management of theatre design and digital arts projects both within the community and school settings.

Operations Manager - Colin Burton (01623 404375)
Colin has been with CP BAM on secondment from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) since June 2005. His roles with DCMS included a joint working arrangement with the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) on the roll out of the PE, School Sport and Club Links (PESSCL) project across all schools in England; and administering the EU Capital of Culture 2008 competition, which led to Liverpool being chosen by the independent panel.

Prior to a decade in Whitehall, Colin worked creatively as a weather forecaster at The Met. Office HQ. He was transported to Australia to represent the National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs where he gained valuable experience for his future career by shearing, milking and crashing a tractor through the side of a barn. Colin has no time to relax and enjoys listening to nursery rhymes!

Team Assistant, Operations (p/t) Fee Boon (01623 404374)
Fee joined the CP BAM team in September 2007, on a part time basis. Before moving to Mansfield earlier this year, Fee worked for BUPA and was responsible for staff training, customer service and outpatient administration. Fee is founder and active member of a support group for young, single homeless people, and enjoys singing and belly dancing in her spare time although not simultaneously.

Team Assistant, Programme (p/t) Lucy Alcock (01623 404377)
Lucy rejoined the CP BAM team in November 2007, to support Becky and Chris with co-ordination of the current programme and roll out of the new national model.
In between her time with CP BAM, Lucy worked at Rufford Abbey Country Park for Nottinghamshire County Council, where she organised events and workshops, as well as feeding the ducks and playing with the squirrels!
