Synopsis

To scene is set: the children come into the playground one morning and make a discovery that over the
weekend a large sculptural object has arrived in the playground.

During the week-long residency at Shelton Infant School, four artists investigated the new playground phenomenon with students and teaching staff by exploring questions such as, how did it get here? What is it for? Who does it belong to? The residency week focused on the creation of a narrative through drama, video, movement and sculpture to interpret the appearance of the phenomenon and record what happened next.
