Synopsis

This joint project involved children across year groups. Year 2 focused on mythical creatures and Year 5 mainly focused on Ancient Greece. Both year groups explored their themes through art and drama. The aim was to develop purpose for writing, encourage pupils to communicate their ideas and foster co-learning across the curriculum and between year groups. The project encouraged creative approaches to planning by teachers and explored the creative classroom delivery as a model for good practice across the curriculum.
