Synopsis
At Percy Shurmer Primary all the children will be taking part in an Architecture day to become consultants to a school development programme. This consultation process involves visual artists, architects, drama workers, dancers and film makers working with pupils, staff and parents to think about their learning environment. They will think about how the space around them makes them feel, what they would change and how it will help them learn better. The Head will then give each class £500 to realise their ideas. The school is then committing significant funds to a external development led by architect Marco da Cruz, one of the architecture day team.
