1. Project aims (click a heading to expand)On 19 November, three students from Bow School in Tower Hamlets attended the press launch for London's bid as a candidate city for the 2012 Olympic Games at Clifford Chance, Canary Wharf, London. As representatives of the Creative Partnerships London East Youth Forum three year 8 and 9 students from Bow School interviewed Jude Kelly OBE about her role leading on the cultural focus of the 2012 bid. Numan, Andrew and Tony asked Jude eight questions, ranging from her definition of culture to the process and consultation of young people the 2012 team implemented to write the cultural bid. The article will be published in the Spring 05 issue of London East’s newsletter, Snapshots. The interview lasted for 30 minutes, before the students attended the press conference. To create a structure for young people to discuss their views, ideas and their experience of creativity in the city in which they live To write an article for the London East newsletter, Snapshots, exploring the benefits for young people of the Olympic festival if the London 2012 bid were successful.
