:: The project concept

Two bespoke workshop programmes were developed for Creative Partnerships Barnsley, Doncaster & Rotherham as part of the b.TWEEN Interactive International Content Conference in February 2005 around creative uses of new technologies. These included the use of GPS technology, run by Stuart Nolan of NESTA, and the various possibilities for linking in with the geography curriculum through map plotting.

The b.TWEEN conference provided an exciting professional development opportunity for teachers and creative practitioners from the area and included keynote speeches from Chris Yapp (Head of Public Sector Innovation, Microsoft UK) and David Doherty (CEO, Yoomedia).
